Nayanthara back from honeymoon, to start shooting for SRK's Jawan in Mumbai
Female superstar Nayanthara, who recently married her long-time beau Vignesh Shivan, is back from her honeymoon in Thailand. And as per latest reports, the actress has landed in Mumbai to commence filming for Atlee's Jawan, in which she features opposite Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan.
"Nayanthara kickstarts the new schedule from today as she joins SRK in the ongoing schedule of Jawan. This is going to be a long schedule until mid-July. She took a small break after her wedding and as we all know, she will do everything in her ability to make things go as per the given schedule. She is here and fulfilling her work commitments," reveals a source close to the development.
Meanwhile, SRK has confirmed the presence of Nayanthara in Jawan via an Instagram LIVE on Saturday, to mark his 30 years in the industry. "There is Nayanthara ji in it," Khan had told when asked about the project, but he refused to divulge any other details.
Coming to Jawan, reports state that Nayanthara will be seen playing an investigating officer in the film. SRK will reportedly be seen in a double role. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, Jawan will also feature Badhaai Ho (2019) actress Sanya Malhotra in a key role. The Atlee directorial will release in multiple languages on June 2, 2023.
After a screen absence of over four years, Shah Rukh Khan will feature next in Yash Raj Films' Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand. Co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film is set to release on 25 January 2023.
Besides Pathaan, the superstar will also be appearing in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu, scheduled to hit cinemas on 23 December 2023.
