Neetu Kapoor shares a post remembering the late Rishi Kapoor on his 70th birth anniversary
In 2020, we lost legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. The actor battled Leukaemia (blood cancer) for two years before his demise. The 4th of September marks Rishi Kapoor’s 70th birth anniversary. On this occasion, his loving wife and actor Neetu Kapoor shared a fun picture of herself with him.
Sharing the image, Neetu Kapoor wrote, "Happy birthday," alongside a red heart emoticon. The image shows the late actor wearing party glasses that are gimmicky with their large size and Neetu Kapoor has her hand placed on him while wrapped in a furry party chain. The two look blissfully happy. The post perfectly reflects their bond and love for each other. Soni Razdan and fashion designer Anaita Shroff Adajania dropped red heart emoticons in the comments amongst the sea of fans.
The couple were seen on screen together in several films like ‘Kabhi Kabhie’, ’Khel Khel Mein’, ’Doosra Aadmi’, ‘Dhan Daulat’, ’Rafoo Chakkar’, ’Zinda Dil’, and ‘Amar Akbar and Anthony’ among others. Some recent films include ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2009), ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ (2010), and ‘Besharam’ (2013).
Neetu Kapoor was last seen in the recently released film ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’. The film was a comedy-drama and starred Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.
