Neetu Kapoor to don a Manish Malhotra ensemble for Ranbir-Alia wedding
Ranbir and Alia are all set to get married on April 15 in Mumbai. Celebrations for the most awaited wedding of the year will kickstart from April 13 at Ranbir and Alia's homes in Mumbai's Bandra. With just a week left to the grand wedding, preparations are underway and the excitement level is scaling new heights everyday.
Neetu Kapoor, who's super excited to be the groom's mother, has already selected her outfits for the wedding. For her 'jaane jigar' son's big day, she has chosen a creation from Manish Malhotra's store. On Wednesday afternoon, Neetu Kapoor, assisted by a team, was spotted carrying large outfit packages which were taken which straight to Ranbir's Bandra house.
Now coming to the wedding, reports state that following a Punjabi tradition, Ranbir and Alia will take the vows between 2 am to 4 am on the night of 15th April, i.e, early morning of 16th April. Post the 'varmala' ceremony, the couple will make their first media appearance as man and wife.
As stated earlier, celebrations will begin on 13 April and continue till 15th April. The Mehendi ceremony will be held on the 13th at Alia's home in Bandra. On 14th April, Haldi/Sangeet will also take place at rhe same venue before the big day, i.e, 15th April, when the wedding will take place. Though reception date is yet to be known, the event will be held at the RK House in Mumbai's Chembur.
The wedding will be am extremely intimate one, with only close family and friends in attendance. Some of the invitees include names like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Akansha Ranjan and Ayan Mukerji.
