Neetu Kapoor took advice from Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor before signing Jugjugg Jeeyo
Ranbir Kapoor's actress mom Neetu Kapoor has been missing from the scene for a couple of years now. She is now ready to make a big comeback to the silver screen with Jugjugg Jeeyo in a pivotal role.
In the upcoming movie, Neetu plays a pivotal role alongside Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani. The actress's role is just as fundamental as her real-life personality. She constantly strives for prosperity in her household. To everyone's surprise, internet star Prajakta Kohli will also make her big Bollywood debut with Jugjugg Jeeyo, and fans' anticipation is high.
Neetu Kapoor was tempted to say yes immediately to the film but did take advice from Ranbir Kapoor. The actress even sought some counseling from a new member of the family, Alia Bhatt.
As Neetu stated in an interview, "I was going through a very bad state at the time. Karan and Ranbir were at home, and my son said that I should start working. Karan said, "Can I come tomorrow with a script?" Just a day later, he and Raj came. The script was so good. Even in that state of mind, what I was going through, I was stunned at how well it was written. The scenes were beautiful, and the dialogues were so powerful that I said, "It was so lovely and I am doing it." It's the script that draws you in. Everybody was drawn toward the script.”
Jugjugg Jeeyo will be released in theatres on June 24, 2022.
