Neha Dhupia reveals her inspiration to essay a pregnant cop in A Thursday
Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, who will shortly be seen playing a pregnant police officer in the upcoming film A Thursday, has revealed her inspiration behind the reason for starring in the thriller.
“I think at that point while I was shooting, right before that I was watching this show called Hit and Run, starring Lior Raz, and there is a character called Tali, who is pregnant, and you know, after the first two scenes, you start living her life, like you live all the other characters, as well," Dhupia, who plays ACP Catherine Alvarez, said.
She added, “The show was a hit, and that character had a lot of resonance with me. With the pregnancy, we didn't go overboard. Since you're pregnant and work harder some days than others, but the reference point was just as strong because, as you know, I've been pregnant before.”
Directed by Behzad Khambata, the Disney+ Hotstar feature is produced by RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films.
The film also stars Yami Gautam, Dimple Kapadia, Atul Kulkarni amongst others. A Thursday will be available on Disney+ Hotstar from February 17.
