Earlier in the day, Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan felt victim of stealing. Diamond earrings worth Rs five lakh were stolen from her home in Khar.
The police have arrested the 30-year-old house help for the same. Arpita lives on lives with her actor-husband Aayush Sharma and two children, Ayat and Ahil. The accused has been identified as Sandip Hegde, who lives in Vile Parle East. Arpita, on May 16, 2023 mentioned in her report that the earrings were kept in a tray post which she could not trace it. The earrings have been recovered and Sandip has been booked under section
381 (theft by servant) of IPC. Senior Inspector Mohan Mane of Khar Police along with the team was in charge of the arrest.
As for Sandip, he was a part of the staff of 11 people had been working for the past four months.
