Nayanthara is a South Indian superstar who has established herself as a bankable star. She was offered a special number in the Bollywood film 'Chennai Express'.

Nayanthara has admitted that Shah Rukh Khan is her favorite actor, yet even his involvement couldn't persuade her to join the cast of 'Chennai Express'. It's worth noting that she was offered a role in the Rohit Shetty-directed film, but not for the role of Meenamma, which was ultimately portrayed by Deepika Padukone.

Nayanthara was approached to appear in the song '1 2 3 4 Get on the Dance Floor,' which eventually went to her Jawan co-star Priyamani. She declined the offer for two reasons.

First, she was looking for meatier roles at the time and did not want to be part of a special number. Second, the song was choreographed by Raju Sundaram, who is the brother of her ex-boyfriend Prabhu Deva.

Nayanthara's decision to decline the offer paid off, as she is now set to make her Hindi film debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the film 'Jawan'.
