Palak Tiwari rose to prominence after appearing in Hardy Sandhu’s music video Bijlee Bijlee. The song was a hit with listeners, and made Palak an overnight sensation. Palak Tiwari, the daughter of television actress Shweta Tiwari, has recently spoken out in an interview about being compared to her mother.

Palak is still being compared to her mother, Shweta, but she claims she is used to it. She has also said that since she is not entering television like her mother, there will be no direct comparisons.

She said, “Comparisons with mom are inevitable! In fact, I have grown up with these comparisons. I have heard comments like, ‘ Yeh aapke jitni sundar aur talented hogi kya (will she be as beautiful as Shweta)?’ Since I look more like my father, I’d also hear comments like, ‘ Arre, yeh aap par nahi gayi (Oh, she doesn't resemble you)’. I would punch my pillow dreading that my life was ruined because I didn’t resemble my mother.”

Further into the discussion, the star kid revealed how her mother had helped her in calming down and being her best self in those situations. Palak mentioned that her mother taught her very little about acting. She added, "My mom would keep telling me that I looked better. So, these comments don't scare me anymore and I take them sportingly because I adore my mother and hold her in high regard. I have learnt whatever I know about acting by watching her work.”

Palak has recently made headlines for her friendship with Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan. Palak, on the other hand, never misses an opportunity to show off her style whenever she steps out in the city.
