Priyanka Chopra Gets TROLLED for Calling RRR A 'Tamil Movie'
Over the years, Priyanka Chopra has established her status as a prominent international celebrity and demonstrated her talent in the movies. In a recent interview for his show Armchair Expert, Dax Shepard and the Citadel actress revealed startling details about a Bollywood film. The actress corrected the reporter for referring to RRR as a Bollywood film, but she was also corrected by internet users for calling a Tamil film. SS Rajamouli didn't miss an opportunity to uphold Indian pride, and the nation is still rejoicing in RRR's significant Oscars 2023 victory. At the 95th Academy Awards, the period drama's well-known song Naatu Naatu earned for best original song. When Priyanka Chopra compared Bollywood to 1950s Hollywood, Dax Shepard referred to RRR as a Bollywood film. That's a Tamil movie, by the way, she quickly corrected.
She repeated the same mistake by saying, “It’s like big, mega, blockbuster Tamil which does all of those… it’s like our Avengers.” She made a blunder while correcting others, and online users mocked her for it.
