Priyanka Chopra shares a poolside post with Nick and daughter Malti
Global star Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have recently welcomed a new addition to their family in January. The tiny tot's name is Malti Marie Jonas. Priyanka took to Instagram to share the news about welcoming their daughter via surrogacy. Fans were shocked and overjoyed upon hearing the news as it was a well-kept secret. Recently, Priyanka shared a poolside picture of the trio.
Priyanka took to Instagram’s stories feature and shared an image of a Polaroid picture. No caption was needed as the Polaroid features the new parents' Nick and Priyanka at the shallow end of a pool with their daughter Malti. Both the parents have been careful to not reveal Malti’s face to the public and Priyanka used a white heart emoticon to cover her daughter's face in the post. This happy family made the announcement of welcoming Malti into their lives on the 22nd of January. They shared a joint statement on Instagram, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much”.
Not long ago Madhu Chopra, Priyanka’s mother shared how the new parents have equally split the roles and duties of a parent. She further shared how only during the Hindu ‘Namkaran’ ceremony did she find out that the girl would be named Malti which is in respect to Madhumalti Chopra who goes by Madhu. As for the face reveal of the baby, Madhu shared ‘soon’.
Apart from this fans can soon see Priyanka in the Rolodex of work she has lined up. Starting with an action-thriller series titled ‘Citadel’ alongside Richard Madden. Followed by a romantic comedy ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me’ with Sam Heughan and lastly, the much-awaited Bollywood film with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif titled ‘Jee Le Zaraa’.
