Radhika Madan to play the titular role in National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria's Sanaa
Sudhanshu Saria, who won the National Film Award for Best Non-Feature Film (Direction) in 2021, has signed Radhika Madan to play the protagonist in his film ‘Sanaa’ which he describes to be an ‘introspective drama’. The film will be co-produced by Sudhanshu’s company Four Line Entertainment and Vinit Masram.
Currently, the makers are busy with the post-production of the film which is expected to go on the floors soon. According to the director, the film has the kind of story that will strike a chord with audience belonging to diverse cultures and based in different parts of the world. The narrative of the film will be driven by the central character Sanaa played by Radhika Madan.
Talking about the film, Radhika says, “Sudhanshu Saria has brought a remarkable amount of sensitivity to Sanaa and I'm glad I was signed for it. It's an arresting character with a very introspective and different brand of entertainment and I can't wait to get started on this special film.”
Apart from ‘Sanaa’, Sudhanshu has several other projects in his kitty including ‘Ulajh’, an espionage drama that is being bankrolled by Junglee Pictures and ‘Masoom’, a series for Amazon Prime Video. He is also busy writing the third season of ‘Delhi Crime’.
