Raid 2: Ajay Devgn Collaborates With Rajkumar Gupta For The Sequel (Details Inside)
With numerous films to his credit, Ajay Devgn, the Mass Maharaja of Bollywood, has been named the busiest actor in the post-pandemic industry. Due to the popularity of ‘Drishyam 2’, one of the most successful stars in the post-pandemic world, Ajay is now transitioning to the franchise model of business. The sequel to ‘Raid’ would be Devgn's next project after ‘Singham Again’, according to insiders familiar with the project.
By the summer of 2024, ‘Raid 2’ is anticipated to begin production as part of Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat's contract with Jio. For those who don't know, Jio Cinemas and Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat have a 3-film digital contract with ‘Black Magic’, ‘Raid 2’, and ‘Drishyam 3’. By the end of next year, the third Drishyam movie is anticipated to start production.
‘Singham 3’ filming, meanwhile, starts in August and will take more than six months to complete. Along with Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn appears in the film.
