Randeep revealed on Twitter that his 2016 movie Laal Rang sequel would include Shankar Malik again. In addition to posting his first look from the movie, he also mentioned the sequel. Along with Panchali Chakraverty and Yogesh Rahar, Laal Rang 2 marks the actor's debut as a producer. Hooda's Netflix series CAT was also produced by Panchali. Additionally connected is producer Yogesh Rahar of Avak Films.
