Rohit Shetty to build his own YRF like studio possibly in Mumbai or Gujrat
One of the most popular filmmakers, Rohit Shetty, is looking to build a cutting-edge studio like Yash Raj Studios. His brand is so big that he has the power to draw the audience to theatres over his own goodwill. As a filmmaker, Shetty has delivered a number of blockbusters over the years and is considered one of the most successful filmmakers of this generation.
He is now looking forward to monetizing his brand by building Rohit Shetty Picturez, a full-fledged production house. Talking about the same, a source said, "Rohit is on the verge of establishing a full-fledged production house by bankrolling multiple films under the banner. His vision is to make larger-than-life cinema that's meant to be consumed on the big screen, and he has been grooming multiple directors to carry on his legacy by churning out films under his banner. At-least 5 films are in the writing stage at Rohit Shetty Picturez. "
“He is already hunting for multiple places and is on the verge of locking down the land to build his own studio. Much like YRF, Rohit too has the vision of making a one-of-a-kind empire that is equipped with multiple studios for shooting, has a pre and post production wing, and also a preview theater. It will be on par with the biggest studios in the world, equipped with all the latest technology. He is in talks to buy a plot of land measuring five acres either in Mumbai or Gujarat. The source further said that he is expected to close the agreement on the land to construct the studio this year itself."
As we know, Rohit is planning to build his own cop universe with movies like Singham (2011), Simba (2018), and Sooryavanshi (2021). He will kickstart Singham 3 with Ajay Devgn this year.
