Saif Ali Khan expresses his desire to do a role in Mahabharata if the film is made like The Lord of the Rings
In the most recent film by Pushkar-Gayathri, Vikram Vedha, Saif Ali Khan, who has made a name for himself as one of the Hindi film industry's most versatile performers, co-stars with Hrithik Roshan. Saif who is growing like a fine wine has unleashed his action avatar in his latest release. The teaser of his next film Adipurush starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon was released earlier. The actor will be seen playing the role of Lankesh in the mythological film. In a recent interview, the actor expressed interest in playing a role in the Mahabharata if it were to be adapted into a film similar to The Lord of the Rings.
Speaking further about the "great" Mahabharata film, the actor expressed his desire to participate in such a venture, whether it be in Bollywood or the south. He said, "If someone makes the Mahabharata like Lord of the Rings, I'd like to play or act in it. Ajay Devgn and I have been discussing it ever since Kachche Dhaage. It's the dream subject for our generation, in my opinion. Everyone wants to carry that out. If it's even conceivable, we'll join the South and the Bombay film industry to create this magnificent film.”
A $300 million budget was used to produce the mythological epic Adipurush. Retrophiles and Bhushan Kumar's T-series have both co-financed the movie. Om Raut's film, which stars Prabhas and Saif as Lord Ram and Ravana, is currently being mocked on social media for having "bad VFX." Kriti Sanon will play Janaki in the movie as well. On January 12, 2023, the film is slated to release in theatres.
