Salman Khan edits out Pragya Jaiswal from Antim: The Final Truth
Pragya Jaiswal was on cloud nine when she was finalised to play a brief role opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The actress was onboard to feature in a special song and a few sequences opposite the superstar. She thought it could be a career-defining moment for her. Alas, her happiness did not last long.
According to reports, Pragya Jaiswal indeed shot for Antim: The Final Truth, which stars Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma in the lead roles. The actress had a romantic sequence and a song which were filmed on her and Khan.
However, at the editing table, director Mahesh Manjrekar and Khan felt that these sequences should be edited out from the film. They have decided not to use any romantic track for the superstar in the film. Thus, Pragya Jaiswal unceremoniously got edited out from the final cut of Antim: The Final Truth.
Produced by Salman Khan Films, Antim: The Final Truth is the official remake of the hit Marathi film Mulshi Pattern (2018). The film is set for its theatrical bow on November 26, 2021. It clashes with John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2.
Meanwhile, Pragya Jaiswal next will be seen in the upcoming Telugu fantasy action film Akhanda. Also starring Balakrishna, Jagapathi Babu, and Srikanth, the film is scheduled to be theatrically released on 2 December 2021.
