Salman Khan has been granted a gun license by Mumbai Police; in light of the superstar receiving death threats
Superstar Salman Khan had received severe death threats. As a matter of his security, the star applied for a gun license. Salman received these threats just days after the death of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The threat was through a letter with the signatures G.B and L.B, which are being interpreted as the names of Lawrence Bishnoi. The actor received a threat from the same individual in 2018. According to reports, the letter was found by Salim Khan’s security detail at the actor's Mumbai home.
Salman was last spotted at the Mumbai police headquarters where he met Vivek Phansalkar. It was when the licensing procedure was completed. Reportedly, Salman Khan has upgraded to an armoured and bulletproof Land Cruiser ever since the death threats. Officials stated that after document verification and a background check were cleared, the seriousness of the case was considered and only then was the file cleared.
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy with Farhad Samji's directorial ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ alongside Pooja Hegde. Reportedly, the film also stars Shehnaaz Gill and Aayush Sharma. Apart from this Salman has a much-anticipated collaboration in the upcoming film ‘Godfather’.
