On April 30th, the caller allegedly made a death threat against the actor. Mumbai police began their investigation immediately and quickly determined that the alleged caller was underage. He claimed yesterday to be Roki Bhai from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, but he was actually located in Mumbai.
The Mumbai Police control room received a death threat against Salman Khan on April 30th, the day the trailer for ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was released. The police started looking into it right away and caught the caller within a day. A 16-year-old teenager from Rajasthan has been detained in Thane, Mumbai. The latest update on the case states that the minor boy was apprehended by police on Tuesday, a day after they received threat calls.

PTI states that the Mumbai Police Department used technical assistance to identify and locate the caller. He dialled a number in the Thane neighbourhood of Shahapur. They were able to easily locate the caller who revealed his intention to assassinate the actor. The person who called Mumbai Police Control and threatened Salman Khan's life has been apprehended, according to a recent statement from the Mumbai Police Department. The caller was revealed to be a 16-year-old boy, and it turned out to be a hoax. More research is being done.
After receiving such threats, Salman Khan's security has been increased. In fact, the actor has been getting threatening phone calls regularly over the past few months. Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang had been plotting the actor's death earlier. Goldy Brar, a member of his gang, emailed the actor with a threat last month. In light of these developments, the trailer release party for ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ underwent an increased security sweep.
