Sanjay Dutt on his bond with Ranbir Kapoor; Says the actor is honest and dedicated
After a four-year break fans will see their beloved actor Ranbir Kapoor on the silver screen with his soon-to-release film ‘Shamshera’. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. The team of ‘Shamshera’ are busy with promotions for the same. Ranbir will be seen in a dual role and Sanjay Dutt is the antagonist in the film. The two actors have a bond from Ranbir's previous film ‘Sanju’. In a recent interview, Sanjay Dutt spoke about this bond with each other.
In the interview, Sanjay Dutt expressed wholeheartedly his view and bond with Ranbir Kapoor. He shared,” Ranbir is a very clean soul, he is an honest kid and very dedicated, he respects everyone with such genuineness. He comes from a legendary family, his values and emotions are at the peak, and you know these things count a lot in life." The actor further explained his views on Ranbir’s filmography saying, "He is a brilliant actor, all I tell him is ‘you got to explore’, as the more you explore in this world of cinema, the greater heights you touch. That has been my experience."
Following saying this, the actor shared how elated he felt upon knowing Ranbir will star in ‘Shamshera’. He even expressed how he feels Ranbir is versatile as an actor, saying, "I do not say it only due to my love for Ranbir but because I see him as an actor who can do everything possible — he can carry Shamshera, he can do comedy, he can be a lover boy, he can be a college kid."
Fans will be glad to know, the Karan Malhotra directorial ‘Shamshera’ under the banner of Yash Raj Films will have a theatrical release on 22nd July.
