Shabaash Mithu, starring Taapsee Pannu, to be released on July 15, 2022; Beau Mathias Boe is rooting for her
Taapsee Pannu is back with a new film to delight the audience. Shabaash Mithu, the actress' film, has finally been given a release date. Taapsee will be seen in the film as Mithali Raj, an Indian cricketer. Shabaash Mithu's release date was confirmed by the Naam Shabana (2017) actress and the film's producers on Friday, April 29. In terms of the film, it will follow Mithali Raj's journey from an 8-year-old girl with an ambition of becoming a cricket icon.
Sharing a new poster of the film on her Instagram handle, Taapsee wrote in the caption, "There is nothing more powerful than a girl with a dream and a plan to realise it! This is a story of one such girl who chased her dream with a bat in this “Gentleman’s Game”#ShabaashMithu The Unheard Story Of Women In Blue will be in cinemas on 15th July 2022."
Mathias Boe, Taapsee's boyfriend, responded strongly to it and expressed his support for his ladylove. With heart emoticons, he wrote, "It's a six."
Taapsee Pannu will play Mithali Doari Raj in Shabaash Mithu, and she will reflect on her 23-year cricketing career, which included seven consecutive 50s in ODIs and four World Cups.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress has Dobaaraa, Blurr, Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?, and Shahrukh Khan starrer Dunki in the pipeline.
