Shah Rukh Khan heaps praises on Jawan co-star Vijay Sethupathi in an unseen video
Shah Rukh Khan is currently prepping up for the release of his upcoming film, Jawan, directed by Atlee. The film marks SRK's first pan-Indian film and also stars Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra in key roles. It is currently being reported that Vijay Sethupathi has been cast in the movie as an antagonist who would face off against SRK. In the midst of the reports, an old video of SRK praising Vijay has gone viral online.
As soon as the news circulated, fans began to share a video of SRK praising Sethupathi during the 2019 Melbourne Indian Film Festival. King Khan, the principal guest, referred to Makkal Selvan as "the most wonderful actor I have ever seen in my life.” The Baazigar (1993) actor was quoted saying, "I don't know how to say this and I want to compliment you. You are the most wonderful actor I have ever seen in my life." As SRK showered him with compliments, Vijay, who is seated next to him, stares in disbelief.
The press conference was held at the 10th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in 2019, and the video from that event features Vijay, Shah Rukh, and Karan Johar. For Super Deluxe (2019), Sethupati won the Best Actor award.
Jawan is slated for release in June 2023 and will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
