“She’s a part of our family circle:” Neliima Azeem on son Ishan Khatter’s rumoured girlfriend Ananya Panday
Though Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday have not officially announced being in a relationship, it is more than evident that the two are a couple. They have been spotted together on multiple occasions and had even celebrated New Year together in Rajasthan.
When Neliima Azeem, mother of Ishaan Khatter, was recently asked about her bond with Ananya Panday, the veteran actress told a publication, “She is a part of our inner circle and family circle. She is a good friend of Shahid (Kapoor) and Mira (Rajput). And obviously, she is an important part of Ishaan’s life. I would say that they are great buddies and good companions. With his friends also, she fits in very well.”
Azeem did not stop just there. She also showered praises on Panday’s acting chops and lauded her for her terrific performance in her recent release Gehraiyaan (2022), co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi, Deepika Padukone, and Dhairya Karwa.
“As far as I am concerned, I think that she always showed talent from the time she came. But with Gehraiyaan, she has come shining through. Not only me but everyone is appreciating her talent and her realistic, intelligent performance. She has been highly appreciated in Gehraiyaan. I am very happy about it,” she said.
Ananya Panday will next be seen in Dharma Productions’ Liger. Ishaan Khatter, on the other hand, is waiting for the release of RSVP Movies’ Pippa.
