Ranveer Singh needs no introduction! With his outstanding performances over the years, the actor has established a reputation for himself in the industry. The actor has a long list of diverse roles in his career and some of the biggest blockbusters to his credit.

One such unforgettable character he played in Simmba (2018), directed by Rohit Shetty. At the box office, the film did well, breaking into the Rs 200-crore club. Ranveer Singh recently spilt the beans on the possibility of a Simmba sequel, following the film's positive reaction.

In a recent interview, the Gully Boy (2019) talked about the possibility of Simmba 2. The actor stated that the character is one of his favorites and that he will be disappointed if there is no sequel. He said, "I will be very disappointed if there isn't a Simba 2.Simba deserves a reprise. He is one of my favourite guys. Actually, Simba was always designed to be a franchise. So, whenever Rohit (Shetty) bhai calls, I will be there. But, there will be a Simba 2. It's one of my favourite movies and also my favourite performances so far. I will do it because I love it so much."

Simmba (2018) is an action film directed by Rohit Shetty and co-produced by Dharma Productions and Rohit Shetty Picturez. The film was the third installment in Rohit Shetty's cop franchise. 

Simmba follows the path of a corrupt police officer who works for Durva, an influential smuggler, in the film. However, when he chooses to avenge a woman who was assaulted by the smuggler's siblings, his life takes an unexpected turn. 

Simmba is a remake of Jr. NTR's Telugu film Temper (2015).
