Singer Aditya Narayan and wife Shweta welcome a baby girl: I am happy that my little girl has arrived
Bollywood actor and singer Aditya Narayan is delighted with the birth of his daughter with his wife Shweta Agarwal. On February 24th, in a Mumbai nursing home, the couple welcomed a baby girl. Today, he announced the news on his social media account. He shared a picture from their wedding day in which he is seen applying 'sindoor' on Shweta’s forehead. Sharing the picture, he captioned, “Shweta & I feel extremely grateful to share that the almighty has blessed us with a beautiful baby daughter on 24.2.22 ibtida.co thehouseontheclouds."
Talking to BT, Aditya said, “Everyone kept telling me that it would be a baby boy. But I secretly hoped that we would have a baby girl. I believe fathers are closest to their daughters, and I am happy that my little girl has arrived. Shweta and I feel extremely blessed that we are parents now.”
He recalls the moment his child was born. “I was with Shweta when she delivered, and I seriously feel that only a woman can show the kind of strength and perseverance to go through this and bring a child into this world. My love and respect for Shweta has doubled now. A woman goes through many things when she delivers a child and even during the pregnancy phase,”said the 34-year old singer.
His parents, Udit Narayan and Deepa Narayan Jha, are ecstatic about the arrival of their grandchild. “My father and mother are both excited that they will become grandparents soon, but my father (singer Udit Narayan) is a little shy like me when it comes to expressing himself."
Before they married in December 2020, Aditya Narayan dated Shweta for ten years. Over a decade ago, Aditya and Shweta met on the set of their film Shaapit (2010) and hit it off right away. His father, Udit Narayan, had previously stated that he had no idea Aditya and Shweta were romantically linked until Aditya informed him of his plans of tying the knot with her.
