Sonam Kapoor Ahuja Shares About Her Experience Of Attending King Charles’ Coronation Concert
Actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja discussed her feelings on taking part in the ceremony while delivering a spoken word piece at King Charles III's Coronation Concert.
The actress introduced the Coronation Choir and 'Higher Love' hitmaker Steve Winwood at the Royal Family of the UK's invitation. A significant cultural event in the UK is the coronation, which is the act of laying the crown on the head of a king.

More than 20,000 people attended the concert, and millions more watched it online. Sonam described her experience as follows: “It was an unforgettable experience. Presenting the Coronation Choir and Steve Winwood in front of such a massive audience, with the world watching, was a real thrill.”
Along with Winwood, Sonam debuted the Commonwealth virtual choir, which featured artists from all 56 Commonwealth nations. She was clothed in an ensemble that two well-known designers from India and the UK made specifically for the event.
Imran Amed, Nikhil Mansata, and her spouse Anand Ahuja were among the actress's companions. The Neerja actor also stated, “At the same time, I was in my element — getting ready, going on stage, hearing the cheers, and seeing the love from people. It was a blast because my friends and family were right there cheering me on! I love moments like these that remind me why I do what I do.”
At the show, Katy Perry joined Sonam Kapoor as a performer.
