Sonam Kapoor has her dad’s genes; says she feels young as a mother
Congratulations are in order for the new parents, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. They made the lovely announcement on their social media writing, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends, and family who have supported us on this journey. It's only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. - Sonam and Anand." With a blue heart emoticon in the caption.
Sonam had recently shot for a cover spree in Vogue India magazine. She spoke about being pregnant during advanced maternal age. She spoke about how she has to take progesterone shots on her thighs and stomach because of her late pregnancy. Furthermore, she was sick, nauseous and bedridden. Despite it all she has an extremely positive outlook on this hardship saying, "Everyone’s so tense about women who get pregnant after 31 or 32. They tell you don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t get gestational diabetes or pre-eclampsia. I was like, “Wait, hang on, I still feel very young. I’ve got my dad’s (Anil Kapoor) genes, I look very young. It’ll be fine,"
In 2018 the couple Sonam and Anand tied the knot on the 8th of May. The wedding was elaborate and videos of all the celebrities dancing their heart out had taken the internet by a storm. The duo have been private about their lives and announced their pregnancy on their own terms. Fans of the actor will soon see her in the film ‘Blind’ which is a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name.
