Sonam Kapoor shares her pregnancy story and claims she is nursing her kid Vayu ‘very smoothly’
Vayu, a boy, was born to Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her spouse Anand Ahuja in August of this year. Since then, the delighted parents have been posting adorable pictures of the child to Instagram. Sonam Kapoor recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at Vayu's jungle-themed nursery. In a series of Instagram stories, the new mother has shared details of her prenatal experience, labor, breastfeeding, and much more.
Sonam Kapoor's prenatal experience
Sonam stated in her accounts that she used the "gentle birth method" in order to achieve a natural birth with the least amount of "intervention." She penned,”My pre-natal journey was quite different. I was very sure I wanted to have as natural a journey as I could that would lead to a natural delivery with as little intervention as possible. For that I decided to take help of ‘gentle birth method’ with Dr Gowra Motha. She had written a lovely book called Gentle Birth Method that explains how to deal with the prenatal journey."
She stated that the doctor is an active ob-gyn in London who frequently employs homeopathy, creative healing, and Ayurvedic techniques.
“I’ve followed her blindly. I’ve had a natural quick birth thanks to all her teachings and I’m breastfeeding pretty easily", wrote Sonam.”
She also provided images of the products she used and said that other than the linea nigra, she has no stretch marks. She also disclosed that she drank collagen, took vitamin C, and ate a lot of protein. She stated that the best strategy to minimize pigmentation in pregnant South Asian women is sunscreen with SPF.
Sonam Kapoor's Work Front
Sonam Kapoor appeared in a cameo in the AK vs. AK black comedy thriller on Netflix, which also starred Anurag Kashyap and her father, Anil Kapoor, in the key roles. Sonam's upcoming film, Blind, which also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey, is directed by Shome Makhija.
