‘Stree’ which was released in 2018 was one of the most successful films of that year. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao nailed the film with their acting, chemistry, and amazing comedy timing. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the sequel to come out after the makers announced the same earlier this year.
Finally, today Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram and announced that the filming of ‘Stree 2’ has begun. Dropping a spooky video, he wrote, “Ek baar phir चंदेरी में फैला aantak! स्त्री २ filming begins! Aa rahi hai woh- August 2024!”
According to the post, it is confirmed that Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, and other characters are all set to reprise their role. ‘Stree 2’ is a part of Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik's horror-comedy franchise which also includes ‘Roohi’, ‘Bhediya’, and the first part of Stree.
