Sukhee Trailer OUT: Shilpa Shetty Brings Out Her ‘Besharam’ And ‘Beparwah’ Nature In The Slice Of Life Comedy Film! (Watch Trailer)
In the 1990s, Shilpa Shetty made her Bollywood debut and starred in a number of hugely popular movies, including ‘Baazigar’, ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’, and ‘Dhadkan’. Later, she took a break from performing and travelled overseas. The actress-turned-entrepreneur is currently preparing for the premiere of ‘Sukhee’, a slice-of-life comedy film.
The long-awaited trailer for ‘Sukhee’ was released online today by the film's creators. There are several hilarious events and discussions in the two-minute trailer. It tells the tale of Sukhee, a housewife who decides to escape her mundane existence and travel to Delhi to have fun with her pals. The movie appears to be funny and vibrant on the surface, yet several exchanges imply that it also addresses patriarchy and women's liberation. It exemplifies how women are expected by society to prioritize taking care of their family over their goals. The movie's catchphrase is, "Get ready to be Bedhadak. Besharam. Beparwah."

Sonal Joshi is the director of ‘Sukhee’, and Joshi, Radhika Anand, Paulomi Dutta, and Rupinder Inderjit wrote the script. Starring alongside Shilpa Shetty are social media influencers Kiran Kumar, Vinod Nagpal, Amit Sadh, Chaitannya Choudhury, Delnaaz Irani, and Kusha Kapila. The movie is scheduled for a September 22nd theatrical debut. Shilpa and Kusha break the fourth wall in the teaser video, which was posted by the film's creators yesterday.

Shilpa last appeared in the action-comedy movie ‘Nikamma’ from 2022, which also starred Shirley Setia and Abhimanyu Dassani. The movie received unfavorable reviews from critics and performed horribly at the box office. The actress will also appear in Prem's Kannada action movie ‘KD - The Devil.’ Sanjay Dutt, Reeshma Nanaiah, Dhruva Sarja, and V. Ravichandran are among its cast members. This year, the pan-Indian, multilingual film is anticipated to be released. Kusha, on the other hand, will next be seen in ‘Thank You For Coming’ with Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill.
