Sushmita Sen announces break-up with Rohman Shawl
While several celebrities fell in love or tied the nuptial knot in 2021, others fell apart. The latest Bollywood celebrity to call it quits is Sushmita Sen who has broken-up with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl.
Most people prefer keeping things private when it comes to their relationships, however, it is different for celebrities because they are in the public eye and the public wants to know everything about their favourite celebrities. Not hiding anything from her fans, Sen took to social media to announce separation from Shawl, ending months of speculations swirling around.
The former Miss Universe shared a picture with Shawl on social media, writing, “We began as friends, we remain friends! The relationship was long over…the love remains!”
Rohman Shawl, who is a model by profession, was living in with Sen for a few years now. He even shared a great equation with her two daughters Renee and Alisah. The four would share adorable videos and photos on social media every now and then.
The duo started dating each other in 2018 after they started chatting on Instagram. They were seen attending family functions together. There is a 15-year age gap between the two, a fact that Shawl hid from Sen for some time.
Meanwhile, Sushmita Sen is basking in the runaway success of her latest streaming show Aarya 2 (2020), which recently premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. She is expected to begin work on the third season of the show after a couple of months.
