Sidharth shared the trailer on his Instagram and wrote, "This Diwali, we're all set to start the game of life, Jaha Hoga sabke karmon ka hisaab! #ThankGod Trailer is out now. In cinemas on 25th October. Sidharth portrays a regular man named Aayan Kapoor in the film's teaser; Ajay, meanwhile, sports a suave look as Chitragupt; and Rakul plays Sidharth's wife, Aaruhi Kapoor. In a rare appearance for a song that is the official Hindi adaptation of popular Sri Lankan singer Yohani's song Manike Mage Hithe, it also features Nora Fatehi.

Although the idea has always been intriguing, director Indra Kumar treated it with a lot of WhatsApp humour. Comedy series like Masti and Dhamaal has been directed by Indra Kumar in the past. In the 1990s, he also helmed movies like Beta, Raja, and Dil. The whole set of Ajay Devgn's court in the movie appears to have been shot on green screen, based on what we've seen in this teaser, which shows how heavily dependent the movie is on VFX. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on October 25 this year, right around Diwali.
