Thar: Fatima Sana Shaikh on working with Anil Kapoor, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor and others
Last seen in Netflix’s anthology film Ajeeb Daastaans (2021), actress Fatima Sana Shaikh is presently busy promoting her upcoming film Thar, again set at Netflix.
Directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, the film also features the father-son duo of Anil Kapoor and Harshvarrdhan Kapoor and seasoned actor Satish Kaushik in important roles.
Sharing her experience of working with all her co-stars on Thar, Shaikh said, “I have got the opportunity to work on a very distinct character that I have not played in the past. Working with Raj Singh Chaudhary, Harshvarrdhan, Anil sir, Satish Sir and Jitendra Joshi was lovely. As always, I am excited to collaborate with Netflix again and am looking forward to how the audiences react to this film and to my character.''
Netflix today dropped the trailer of the much-awaited thriller. The film is set to start streaming on Netflix on May 6, 2022.
In addition to Thar, Fatima Sana Shaikh also has Meghna Gulzar’s much-awaited war film Sam Bahadur, which reunites the actress with her Dangal (2016) co-star Sanya Malhotra. The film stars National Film Award-winning actor Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.
