Naseeruddin Shah was recently questioned about the film, his response made headlines and drew significant responses from online users. He continued by saying that Indian cinema was becoming more like 'Nazi Germany.' Many people found Naseeruddin Shah's comment offensive. Manoj Tiwari described Naseeruddin Shah is a good actor but stated that his intentions were not good. He said, "I say this with a heavy heart." He clarifies his claim by saying that he remained silent when films featuring a man lurking at a shop and making crude remarks about women were released. According to Manoj Tiwari, films like 'The Kashmir Files' and 'The Kerala Story' were based on real events. He continues by saying that Naseeruddin Shah can file a lawsuit if he has a problem with it.

He says, "It is very easy to talk. The way he has identified himself, it is not good as an Indian and as a human being." According to Naseeruddin Shah, audiences are flocking in large numbers to see 'The Kerala Story' by Sudipto Sen, which stars Adah Sharma. While films like 'Bheed,' 'Afwaah,' and 'Faraz' are failing. Shah claims that he has not seen the movie and does not plan to. He asserts that he has already read enough about the movie. Shah describes the popularity of 'The Kerala Story' as a risky trend and claims that the film industry is moving in the direction of Nazi Germany, where films were produced that praised the dictator at the time he was in power. He says that India is experiencing the same situation. Naseeruddin Shah believes there is a climate of hatred present and expects it will soon dissipate.

Sudipto Sen, who also attacked everyone, who referred to the movie as propaganda. Many people believe that 'The Kerala Story' is fostering anti-Muslim sentiment. Additionally, Kamal Haasan referred to it as propaganda.
