With a career spanning almost 15 years, Anushka Sharma is one of the most successful Indian actors. The actress made her debut with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Since then the actress has been featured in a number of blockbusters like Band Baaja Baaraat, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Sultan, PK, Sanju, NH10, and Phillauri, among others. Additionally, she made a foray into the world of clothing and apparel, created her own brand, and entered the world of filmmaking with her production company, Clean Slate Filmz. After some time, she decided to leave her production company so she could concentrate on her acting career and fulfill her motherly obligations.

In a throwback interview, Anushka had spoken about her bond with her Sultan co-star Salman Khan. She said, “I don’t know him well enough, quite honestly. I don’t know him at all. I have worked on a film with him and that’s the only interaction I have had with him. And I do find him a bit intimidating. He is not someone who would go out of his way to make you feel comfortable. He is going to be himself and just do his thing. And I am very shy as a person so I can’t bridge that gap either. So, I can’t break that ice because I am not very good with it myself. So, in any case, we don’t have that kind of equation where we have conversations. We have not spoken about anything in the time that I have shot for a film with him and we have always spoken in a group situation when Ali Abbas Zafar and other assistant directors are there.”

Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, is all set to return to films with her next Chakda Xpress. It is also going to be her first film after giving birth to her baby girl Vamika. Anushka has been working hard for Chakda Xpress. The film is a biopic based on the life of an Indian cricketer and former captain Jhulan Goswami.
