Venkatesh roped in for a pivotal role in Salman Khan's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali
Tollywood actor Venkatesh has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Salman Khan's upcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde and will be helmed by Farhad Samji.
As per reports, Venkatesh is playing a very important role in the film. Shehnaaz Gill who rose to fame with the TV reality show Bigg Boss 13, has also joined the starcast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is expected to be hit theatres on Eid 2023.
Superstar Salman Khan started shooting for the project on Saturday at a set created in Mumbai's Vile Parle area. The Dabangg (2010) actor also shared his look from the film on social media. In the first-look poster, Salman can be seen wearing his signature bracelet, with long hair and black sunglasses.
Apart from Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Salman will be seen in a cameo as Prem in Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's much awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha (2022). He will also make a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan (2023) and appear in a full fledged role in Tiger 3 (2023), alongside Katrina Kaif.
Meanwhile, Venkatesh is gearing up for his upcoming Telugu heist comedy film titled F3: Fun and Frustration. Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is a standalone sequel to the 2019 film F2, and the second film in the Fun and Frustration series.
The film stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada who reprise their roles from the previous film alongside Sunil and Sonal Chauhan. It is slated to be released on 27 May 2022.
