Actor Vicky Kaushal in a soldier film is all the news one needed to hear during this gloomy monsoon. The actor last aced his role in ‘URI’. Fans could not get enough of the JOSH. The star will soon be seen as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He will be paired on-screen with Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra, the trio recently shared how they are prepping for this upcoming film titled ‘Sam Bahadur’.
Actor Vicky took to his Instagram to share images from behind the scenes of the prep. Vicky along with Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra was reading the script of Meghna Gulzar’s next. The trio were all smiles in the images and this created an atmosphere of anticipation around the project. Vicky captioned the post "Reading together, a story we are honoured to tell. Of a Soldier and a Gentleman. Our Samबहादुर." In the film, the actor as Sam Manekshaw portrays how he was the first to be ranked a Field Marshal. Sam was the Chief of the Army Staff in the Indian Army during the 1971 Indo-Paki War.
The actor shared his look from the film. Vicky has a moustache and an army uniform on him. This has left the fans extremely curious. The announcement of Sanya and Fatima joining the cast has only added to the excitement of fans. The film will be produced by RSVP films.
