Vikram Vedha, a smash blockbuster in Tamil in 2017, will have a Hindi version out this year. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan will step into the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan, respectively, in the Hindi version's titular roles.

Additionally, the remake will be directed by the husband-and-wife duo of Pushkar and Gayatri. In a recent interview, the couple talked about how the movie is coming along and what will be different about it.

The director couple stated that no one had put any pressure on them to film Vikram Vedha in Hindi in a particular way. Pushkar clarified this by saying, “We know how to make films in a certain way, and we will stick to that only. I hope people don’t think of it as ‘Bollywoodised’ or anything. There has been no pressure from any quarters to do it in a certain way, let’s put it that way. There has been no pressure from the producers or distributors saying films here have to be made a certain way. Nobody has had that conversation with us.”

According to Gayatri, they were chosen in order to recreate the components that made the original so successful. Furthermore, she says, “They liked the film and they wanted us to make it the way we make it. We have not found any pressure from any side and we have done our best.”

Vikram Vedha, which also stars Radhika Apte, is slated to release on 30th September, 2022.
