Why did Kareena Kapoor reject Saif Ali Khan's proposal twice? Laal Singh Chaddha actress reveals
After exchanging their vows to each other ten years ago, Bollywood power couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have been giving us huge couple goals and making us swoon at every opportunity.
In 2012, the couple exchanged vows. However, prior to D-day, Bebo wasn't certain whether she should wed him or not. In fact, she once admitted that she twice declined his marriage proposal because she wanted to get to know Saif better first.
In an interview with a media outlet, Kareena revealed how Saif first brought up marriage to her while they were filming Tashan (2008) in Greece. She said, “He did tell me that ‘I think we should get married. He told me that in Greece and he told me that in Ladakh as well. And at that time I was like ‘I don’t know because I don’t know you. So it was not really a ‘no’ but it was more like an ‘I want to know you better.”
“I was still in love. Maybe I thought it was too soon, or that we were just kind of getting to know each other a little bit. I think it was because of that, that's all. But I think I was always sure that I was gonna marry him," she added.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha released in theatres yesterday, i.e. August 11.
