About the movie Thank God

In the film Thank God, a corrupt man (Sidharth Malhotra) is hurt in a car accident, and CG (Ajay Devgn) questions him about his good and bad deeds as he is trapped between life and death. Rakul portrays his wife as a good police officer. In a unique dance performance called Manike, a remake of Yohani's hit Manike Mage Hithe, Thank God also features Nora Fatehi.

The critics had conflicting things to say about Thank God. The movie was described as a "lifeless afterlife comedy" in the Hindustan Times review. It said: "While the movie is enjoyable enough as uncomplicated mainstream comedies go, Thank God is forgettable storytelling of the first order when Hindi cinema has never been under more pressure to deliver a substantial theatrical experience."

The fifth film to be released by Rakul Preet Singh in 2022 is Thank God. She most recently appeared in Doctor G, Attack: Part 1, Cuttputlli, and Runway 34, all of which starred Ayushmann Khanna. Rakul claims that she reads critiques of her acting and cinematic work and considers them while choosing her next project. "I read reviews from both critics and fans. If it's positive feedback, you feel valued, and if it's critical feedback, you want to get better. Everything also depends on what you receive and the choices you make from it, she told the news agency PTI.
