The movie ‘Dream Girl 2’, produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, has achieved a remarkable milestone by entering the prestigious ₹50 crore club in India. As per reports from Sacnilk.com, the film managed to collect nearly ₹6 crore on its initial Tuesday following its release on the previous Friday (August 25). The film, helmed by director Raaj Shaandilyaa, stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role and also features Ananya Panday in a prominent position.
According to early estimates provided by Sacnilk.com, ‘Dream Girl 2’ garnered approximately ₹5.70 crore nett in India on its fifth day of release. The movie commenced its theatrical journey with an opening day collection of ₹10.69 crore, followed by impressive earnings of ₹14.02 crore on Saturday, ₹16 crore on Sunday, and ₹5.42 crore on Monday. Cumulatively, the film has amassed a commendable domestic box office collection of ₹51.83 crore thus far.
Aside from the dynamic lead duo of Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, the movie also boasts a talented ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Seema Pahwa, Abhishek Banerjee, Manoj Joshi, and Annu Kapoor, adding to its appeal and success in the theaters.
