Punit Malhotra 's directorial venture ' Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! ' came out on November 22. The rom-com features Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, while the movie also includes an extended cameo by Shraddha Kapoor .
The same day saw release of Sunny Deol starrer ' Singh Saab The Great ', which is an action-drama and a common man's combat in the opposition of corruption. The movie started with a positive opening on day one in urban regions like NCR and achieved approximately 30% all India occupancy in the multiplexes. The film witnessed occupancy of around 35% to 40% on Friday in posh multiplexes, reportedly. As per the early estimates, the film must fetch up to 7 crore nett on its opening day. The movie received mixed reviews from the critics, but contains a fresh content that can delight the youth.
However, last week's royal release ' Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela ' can prove as a tough contender for this rom-com.
