Neerja witnesses good box-office opening on its first Friday!
Sonam Kapoor's Neerja has raked in good numbers at the domestic box-office on its first Friday.

Actress Sonam Kapoor and the entire team of the film have left no stone unturned for Neerja . They have promoted the film at all the right places and, also managed to generate huge buzz. Hence, good numbers were expected from it. The movie raked in Rs. 4.70 crores on its opening Friday, which is good considering that, the film was released in only 700 screens for limited shows.
Ram Madhwani 's directorial has received positive reviews from the critics and the audience have absolutely loved the film. Sonam’s performance has also been lauded by the industry insiders as well as the viewers. The film overall carries a positive buzz and word of mouth hence, expected to make great business during the weekend.
The film Neerja is based on a real life incident where a 23 year old air hostess Neerja Bhanot loses her life while saving the lives of the 359 passengers of a high jacked plane.
