Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 to mint over Rs 130 crore on day 1: Reports
Kannada superstar Yash is all set to create history at the box office with his latest release KGF Chapter 2 (2022). The most awaited film is finally in the theaters and movie lovers are simply going berserk over it. The reviews are positive and word of mouth is spreading fast. Even social media is filled with positive things about KGF Chapter 2.
After a super successful advance booking spree, everyone is keen to know how much the mega film will collect at the box office on day one of its release. While speculations are many, Ormax Media has predicted that the action-packed entertainer will rake in Rs. 133 crore at the box office on day one (i.e. 14 April 2022).
On Instagram, Ormax Media wrote- “#OrmaxCinematix FBO (First-Day Box Office Forecast) for today's major release K.G.F: Chapter 2: All India Gross 133 Cr, with Hindi (45 Cr+ Gross/ 40 Cr+ Nett), Telugu (35 Cr+) & Kannada (30 Cr+) as the main contributors, followed by Tamil & Malayalam at 7 Cr+ & 6 Cr+ #FBO."
Interestingly, trade experts in Bollywood had earlier predicted that the Hindi version of KGF Chapter 2 will collect 30 crores on the first day of release; but now the prediction of opening day collection is being speculated to touch 40 crores. The reason being high expectations of the film, successful promotions and its pre-release business in the Hindi circuits.
One of the most anticipated film releases of the year, KGF Chapter 2 marks the return of superstar Yash aka KGF’s Rocky to the big screen alongside an ensemble star cast which includes Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty.
The film is written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under the Hombale Films banner. It released to packed theaters today- in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
