Alia Bhatt takes over Berlin in a 1.58k Dolce and Gabbana blazer
Alia Bhatt has won our hearts over the years with her cheerful personality, superb acting skills, and fashionable clothing choices. The actress is now busy promoting her upcoming flick, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and she is serving us with back-to-back style statements everyday with her amazing ethnic ensembles.
However, for the Gangubai Kathiawadi promotions at the Berlinale, 2022, she channeled her inner Gangubai in a white Dolce and Gabbana blazer and paired it with pleated palazzo pants. Adding her signature minimal touch to the look, she opted for a subtle makeup with foundation, contour and fake freckles drawn all over her face. Her hair was pulled back in a neat low ponytail. Letting her outfit steal the show, she accessorized her avatar with a pair of large pearl studded earrings.
That's not it about the look. The blazer she donned costs a fortune and it's price will burn a hole in your pocket. The double-breasted virgin wool jacket blazer from Dolce and Gabbana costs 1,850 pounds which is equivalent to Rs. 1,57,961.02 after converting to Indian currency. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on the true-crime reportage bestseller Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi, which tells the storey of Gangubai Kathiawadi, who was tricked and trafficked into prostitution in Mumbai's Kamathipura red-light zone in the 1960s, but rose to become an underworld madam involved in drugs and violent crime thanks to her survivor's ruthlessness and shrewd cultivation of political connections.
Aside from Alia Bhatt, the movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, Jim Sarbh and Shantanu Maheshwari in crucial roles. The film hit the big screens on 25th February, 2022.
