Ananya Pandey hit the jackpot when Karan Johar’s Dharma productions launched her with Student of the Year 2 (2019). But the daughter of Chunky Panday and Bhavna Panday had been in the public eye before entering showbiz.
The Khaali Peeli (2020) actress has a strong social media presence with over 20 million followers on Instagram. She was a popular face on social media even before signing up for SOTY 2. Having said that, her popularity definitely soared following her debut.
The young actress has been pretty busy on the work front ever since lockdown restrictions eased and the industry resumed operations. She recently graced the cover page of Hello magazine for India, wearing an Indian designer. She has now shot for another magazine named Firstlook, in collaboration with fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

Another Instagram reel posted by Manish Malhotra himself shows Panday swirling in a beautiful black and silver sequined lehenga set from his latest collection. We couldn’t help but notice that Ananya Panday wore a blouse similar to what Alia Bhatt wore for Anushka Ranjan’s wedding two weeks back, which was also a creation of Manish Malhotra.
It hints that the designer is promoting his hit material left right and centre collaborating the most famous faces in the business and Ananya Pandey is definitely one of them.
