Initially, the actor was hairless for as long as we know but after sporting a beard in movies like R... Rajkumar (2013), Haider (2014), Kabir Singh (2019), etc., the actor decided to make it a habit.
Recently, the actor posted a sunkissed selfie on his Instagram story flaunting his perfect jawline. He is seen sporting a beard which makes him look rugged yet stylish. He is also wearing a grey fur hoodie and he summed up the look with a cool pair of sunglasses giving him that perfect rough and sturdy look.
Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in the sports-drama film Jersey which is a Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Jersey (2019) starring Nani, Shraddha Srinath and Harish Kalyan. It is the story of a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to return to cricket in his late thirties, driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son's wish for a jersey as a gift. Alongside Shahid Kapoor, the movie also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor.
