Recently, for the green carpet appearance at IIFA 2022, Aish wore a stunning black Rohit Bal creation. The highlight of the monochrome ensemble was the knee length velvet jacket, embroidered with floral motifs in red, green, blue and golden shades. The look was completed by her signature red lips, smokey eyes and luscious wavy locks.
While the Rohit Bal outfit has grabbed eyeballs for its elegance, the price of the dress is also making headlines. As per the information on the designer's website, the outfit is worth a whopping Rs 1.74 lakh!

The Devdas (2002) actress is all set to appear in Mani Ratnam's Tamil period film Ponniyin Selvan (2022). In the movie, Aishwarya features alongside an ensemble cast of Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu and Ashwin Kakumanu while R. Sarathkumar, R. Parthiban, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, and Rahman and others appear in supporting roles.
The film's music is composed by A. R. Rahman, with cinematography handled by Ravi Varman.
Made on a budget of Rs500 crore, Ponniyin Selvan is slated for release on 30 September 2022.
