Justin Bieber And Hailey Bieber Attend Coco Gauff’s US Open Game; The Player Is Starstruck (Watch Video)
Numerous celebrities have graced the stands at the US Open Championships to cheer on the competitors. Justin and Hailey Bieber were spotted watching Coco Gauff and Elise Mertens compete in a match at the Arthur Ashe Stadium on Friday, August 1, 2023.
White vests and black leather jackets were seen on the duo as they twinned. With a pair of spectacles, a quirky hat, and blue jeans, Justin finished off his ensemble. Hailey, on the other hand, accessorized her ensemble with a B-shaped necklace, gold hoops for earrings, and shorts.
The couple, who have been married for six years, appeared to be enjoying themselves during the game. They posed for pictures with onlookers and could be seen beaming with joy following difficult rallies as they saw Coco defeat Elise by a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-0.
The 19-year-old athlete was reportedly star struck during her post-victory interview, when she also praised the couple and confessed to being a major admirer of Justin's music.
“I was definitely starstruck with Justin Bieber,” shared the Atlanta-born athlete.
“Never Say Never’ was one of my favourite songs when I was a kid. And then ‘Baby, Oh Baby’… I could go through all his songs. And then Hailey coming too — I guess it was a little date night for them which is really cool.”
Later, the champion tennis player posted a snapshot of Justin supporting her on Instagram with the remark, "He was stoked. I love it.”
The famous pair was spotted watching the action-packed game in a box with Jiimy Butler of the Miami Heat and Frances Tiafoe of tennis, who had earlier played at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
Jimmy Butler had attended many of Coco's matches, but she still finds it surprising that he would take time out of his hectic schedule to do so.
“Jimmy Butler has come to a couple of my matches so I wasn’t as surprised that he was there. But I’m still like: ‘This guy is busy. Why is he coming to watch me play?!’ But it’s a really cool experience,” added the tennis star.
The athlete expressed her appreciation to the supporters in the stadium, stating, "The excitement today really helped me. I sensed you two. I gave every game my best effort.
Days prior to the Bieber's outing, the couple attended the most recent launch of Hailey's skincare line, Rhode Beauty.
Their presence garnered media attention. Justin was seen walking with Hailey while wearing a pair of grey shorts, a hoodie, and a pink cap that was turned upside down. Hailey was wearing a formal red dress.
