Actor Paul Grant from "Harry Potter" passes away after collapsing outside a station in London. On Thursday afternoon, the thespian was discovered unconscious outside London's Kings Cross station.

'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' and 'Star Wars: Return of the Jedi' actor Paul Grant passed away after collapsing outside a London train stop. He was 56.

The Guardian reports that Mr. Grant was discovered by officers on Thursday, March 16, outside King's Cross station in north London. He was taken to the hospital and later determined to be brain dead. His family revealed on Sunday, March 19, that they had decided to turn off his life support. The reason of death is still unknown.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said, "We were called at 2.08 pm on Thursday 16 March to reports of an incident at St Pancras Station, Euston Road. We sent an ambulance crew and a medic in a response car. We treated a man at the scene and took him to the hospital as a priority."

The actor's daughter confirmed his death, ''I'm heartbroken… No girl deserves their dad to be taken away… He was so well known and loved [for his work]. He's gone too soon,'' Mr. Grant's daughter Sophie Jayne Grant said.

Notably, the performer, who stood at 4-foot-4 inches, portrayed a goblin in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and a ewok in "Return of the Jedi". In addition, the performer appeared in the films "Legend," "Labyrinth," "Willow," and "The Dead." His girlfriend Maria Dwyer, his two daughters, one son, stepchildren, and grandkids all survive Mr. Grant.

The stepdaughter of Mr. Grant has created a GoFundMe website to collect money for his funeral. She penned, ''I'm starting this page as Paul sadly passed away yesterday and I would like to give him the best send-off he would want.''
