Priyanka Chopra and Sienna Miller are on board for Anthony Chen's adaptation of Secret Daughter
The global dominator Priyanka Chopra has managed to mark her strong presence in the entertainment industry and is known for her talent, confidence, and the strong lady that she is! The Baywatch actress Priyanka Chopra has secured another Hollywood biggie in her list and we are completely in awe of her upcoming movie with Singaporean helmer Anthony Chen alongside Sienna Miller.
The film will be based on Shilpi Somaya Gowda’s novel Secret Daughter and will be adapted by Shruti Ganguly as confirmed by Deadline.
The synopsis of the story read, ‘Somer’s life is everything she imagined it would be—she’s newly married and has started her career as a physician in San Francisco—until she makes the devastating discovery she never will be able to have children. The same year in India, a poor mother makes the heartbreaking choice to save her newborn daughter’s life by giving her away. It is a decision that will haunt Kavita for the rest of her life, and cause a ripple effect that travels across the world and back again.’
The audience is in for a great treat as the actresses are expected to give a par excellence performance considering the intense storyline.
Sunset Lane Media’s David Beaubaire and Vanessa Lanci will produce along with Chopra Jonas’ and Mary Rohlich’s Purple Pebble Pictures, Miller and Tori Cook.
